Anthem is operated by Anthem, [Your mailing address]. For anything in this document, or to exercise any right described below, write to hello@anthemboard.com.

When you submit an audition, we collect:

• Your name, or your group's name and size.
• Your email address and phone number, so the club can reach you.
• The town you would travel from.
• A link to your video. The video stays wherever you host it — we store the address, not the recording.
• The dates you said you can perform, and anything you chose to add: a short biography, where you have performed before, a photo, the instrument you play, other songs you can sing.
• An age range — 18 or over, 13 to 17, or under 13 — if you choose to give one. We do not ask for your date of birth or your exact age, because a club only needs to know whether it should be talking to an adult.

This information is shown to the club or clubs you applied to, and to nobody else. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

If you audition for more than one club, those applications are linked by your email address so you do not have to type everything twice. A club can also see that you have performed for another club before, and the rating that club gave your performance. It cannot see your applications to clubs that have not selected you, or any private notes another club wrote about you.

If you would rather your record not travel between clubs, tell us and we will separate them.

Plenty of anthem singers are children. If a performer is under 18 we require a parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, and everything the club sends about the performance goes to that adult — not to the performer. The child's own contact details are never shown to the club in place of the guardian's.

We hold a guardian's details only for as long as they are the reason we have them. If the same performer later applies as an adult, the guardian's details are removed.

If you are under 13, do not submit an audition yourself. A parent or guardian should submit it for you using their own contact details. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If we learn we have, we delete it. A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct, or delete anything we hold about their child by writing to hello@anthemboard.com, and we will act on it without asking for anything in return.

We store your name, work email, the club you work for, and a hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself. We also keep the schedule you import or upload, and the decisions and ratings you record. Your club's data is visible only to people you have invited to your club's account.

• Auditions and their ratings: kept while the club still uses Anthem, so a returning singer is not a stranger. Ask and we will delete yours sooner.
• Password reset links: one hour, then they stop working.
• Anti-abuse counters, which record only that a request came from an address: at most one hour.
• Club accounts and schedules: until the club asks us to close the account, after which we delete them within 30 days.

We use a small number of services to run Anthem: a hosting provider, a database provider, and an email provider that delivers the messages we send you. They process this data on our instructions and for no other purpose.

Schedules are fetched from public league sources. Those requests contain no information about you.

At any time you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@anthemboard.com and we will respond within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will never affect how a club treats your audition.

If we change how we handle personal information in any way that matters, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email the clubs using Anthem.
